Born and raised in Concord, Massachusetts, Jenny Bovey comes from a large family of artists inlcuding writers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, and designers. Although having studied the studio arts since childhood, people are surprised she holds no formal degree in the arts. She explains...

"It did not occur to me to consider majoring in the arts. Art was something always there - without question. It wasn't something I sat back and theorized or really even thought about on a conscious level. Instinctually, I just did it."

It was that same attitude that initially launched Blue Water Fish Rubbings into existence in 1989; now entering our sixteenth year of business!
